Ive found there are DDR players haunting the fourms
So... hehe... What difficulty do you play on? (Light, Standard, Heavy) Whats your favorite song/playlist? Player? How about mix? (I liked extreme on the machine...) Did anyone else buy the American versions and die a little inside when there were singles such as... 'hit me baby one more time' and 'silent night'?
Share, I absolutely love this game (although Im so out of practice its not even funny... (havent been near a machine in some months) I never get tired of talking about it.

I totally suck at DDR 3-5 step songs depending. I play Stepmania with my keyboard, but that hardly counts. But if anyone else plays stepmania i challenge you! >D 14+ Step songs only.

I love DDR <3 I totally understand what you mean about being so out of practice. I hadn't really played since my bday back in January, and I was just getting into Medium. Then about a month ago I played on one of the machines at the movie theater, I d**n near died @__@; I really need to get back into practice, Lol.

My fave game has to be Extreme 2 I was so surprised I was able to find it. I Currently play on Standard (third) level; I've been practacing alot.
I have so many songs I love I couldn't list them all but my most loved songs are Daikenkai (i think thats how its spelled) and Candy.
Will we be having DDR at kita-kon again this year?

My sister's got DDR: Hottest Party. The last song is so hard XD We tried doing it together (both of us on the mat with our own designated arrows...or with our hands), but we still couldn't beat it. Gee. I haven't played that game for sooo long now, I should start practicing again. I play mostly on Basic...Favourite song pro'lly being Love Shine, but I mostly just go on random and play whatever <3

Since silver city got ITG, I've had trouble going back to DDR. It feels so limited and unpolished now. I'm still mad they got rid of it >.>
I play on heavy anywhere from 8-9 feet depending on how in practice I am.

I used to be really good at DDR, but then I just stopped playing due to working overnights and not being awake during the day.
I have really awesome home pads that for some reason I haven't used in years and Konamix, DDR Extreme and Extreme 2. Xtreme is may fav on the home console, not sure about arcade.

I just have DDR:Extreme and DDR:Extreme-2 for the ps2. Don't play them much anymore, since I'm a lazy person and lack the coordination/time to advance past Standard mode. I'm not sure which I liked better, maybe DDR:E2 since the playlist had a lot of the 'classic' songs like Speed Over Beethoven and Butterfly.

i play medium on ITG, i more or less consider myself a noob because i have friends that play keyboard songs on challege with their feet. you want to see them look up on youtube EGO! and Team Fabulous... seriously my friend tri or quad-stars most songs ive seen him play, and he gets mad with a tri-star after playing ITG i could NOT go back to DDR, i hate it with a passion because DDR feels so utterly unpolished and clunky, but that's what happens when you beat out competition by patenting an entire genre and then suing everything into an oblivion, (i refuse to actually buy any new konami games) instead of improving your product.

extreme 2 definitely had the best songs! but supernova 2 has some with uber-cool graphics~!! standard mode is what i go on when i use the machines at arcades (cuz the stupid buttons never press easily), but heavy is usually the best. i'm sad we haven't had another competition after the first. D:
